Online retailers, ease your mind with one-stop solution Easyship

For online retailers, it can be a headache organizing the logistics in shipping. From pickup, packing, shipping to tracking orders, it’s a lot of work to guarantee the safe and timely arrival of a parcel.

Which is why the three founders of Easyship, Reuben Philip Abraham, Augustin Ceyrac and Tommaso Tamburnotti, are launching a service that takes the stress off merchants in Hong Kong.

Easyship promises to provide a one-stop solution for online retailers. They will pick up, pack and ship items from Hong Kong anywhere in the world, with the lowest rates in the market, guaranteeing the item’s punctual arrival.

Thus far, they have partnered with three major shipping companies and are geared to prep the first shipments.

The co-founders are not strangers to the industry: all three were working within Rocket Internet, looking after operations for the six countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, that e-commerce platform Lazada operates in.

“We learned a lot working at Rocket in the last few years, and we wanted to transfer this knowledge to help merchants in Hong Kong,” said Abraham.

Prior to working at Lazada, Abraham had cofounded another start-up called Pollka, a social polling app.  Though this is Ceyrac and Tamburnotti’s first startup, they are well adept in self initiation.

“What we were doing at Rocket Internet, we were building from scratch,” said Tamburnotti. Prior, Tamburnotti was working in investment banking, as was Ceyrac. The two had met during university before working again together at Rocket Internet.

“For Easyship, we will make sure all the merchant needs to do is focus on the sales side, and we will focus on everything else. We are providing intelligence, at a cheap rate and as the most liable supplier,” said Ceyrac.

Easyship is one of the 11 teams chosen to join the blueprint accelerator program. We’ll keep track of the progress and developments the team makes throughout the program. Earlier, we profiled Tofupay.
