Nest Partners with Edelman HK to Fuel Startup Ecosystem
Partnership gives entrepreneurs access to dedicated marketing and communications support.
Edelman, a leading global communications marketing firm, has today announced its partnership with Nest, a Hong Kong-founded company that supports startups and entrepreneurs through its venture capital arm and corporate-backed accelerator programmes. The partnership will further strengthen the city’s growing innovation ecosystem and provide communications marketing services to founders and startups so they can grow and scale.
Edelman Hong Kong will serve as the communications marketing partner for Nest’s accelerator programmes and also offer support to some of Nest’s portfolio companies. As an independent global agency, Edelman is able to leverage its presence around the world to identify and nurture opportunities to mentor and support communities that have the potential to disrupt categories across the globe.
Edelman is also supporting Nest on Mettā, its latest project and concept designed to connect the global innovation community. Mettā will be a place entrepreneurs can call home and will begin welcoming members to its first space at California Tower in Lan Kwai Fong from the first week of May.
A key challenge facing budding startups is fear in the rapid pace of innovation. Edelman’sEarned Brand study found that two in three consumers believe the role of innovation for brands is to make more money for the company. Two in three people say brands are not moving in the right direction in how they communicate.

As part of the partnership, Edelman will deliver a series of multi-channel services to supportcontent creation, public relations strategy and marketing campaigns for Nest and startups within its accelerator programs and network.
